Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh/Waterfront-West Homestead

Overall our stay was satisfactory. We went to the Improve for a late show and wanted to stay somewhere close and the Hampton seemed to fit the bill. Everyone was very nice and helpful and the room was extremely nice. I found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable but my wife loved it, so maybe im like the princess and the pea. We found the elevators to be unfresh and not pleasant smelling, which can be an easy fix, hint hint Hampton.

This was my 1st time staying at this location. The room was nice. Aside from a slight issue with door to my room I had no major issues. There's a nice area with a Riverview and firepit. Staff was nice and helpful. Even when checking out, I inquired if there was a banana available as I was feeling a little off and had an hour and a half drive ahead of me. Staff provided this without question. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area. Also there is a train that goes through the area. My room was on the front of the building and while I could hear/see the train it was in the distance and not disturbing or an issue.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh/Waterfront-West Homestead! The location is absolutely perfect—right along the waterfront with beautiful views and within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and shops. It’s a great spot whether you’re visiting Pittsburgh for a game, a getaway, or just passing through. The hotel itself was spotless and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything felt fresh and modern. The staff truly made the experience even better. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything we needed. The complimentary breakfast was also a big plus—lots of options and a great way to start the day before heading out to explore. Overall, this Hampton Inn & Suites is a wonderful place to stay in the Pittsburgh area. Between the great service, clean rooms, and unbeatable waterfront location, we would absolutely stay here again.

Great location for Waterfront shopping and Dining. Bathroom was subpar as far as cleanliness. I expect better from a Hampton. Hopefully this was just a one off. Also, did not have the smart TVs that you find in most Hampton’s these days. I will stay here again, so will update if better next stay.

Beautiful view of the river. They have a nice area in the back of the hotel with a firepit, tables and chairs to relax at. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The guest washing machine might eat your quarters but the front desk attendant restarted it promptly for me. I recommend going elsewhere for breakfast. The free breakfast is the standard Hampton Inn fare.

First time staying here and the hotel was so nice. They have a fire pit outside and the water front view and view of the stacks is astounding. I would stay here again the next time I come out this way.

Hotel was clean and accommodating. However, what made the stay first class was Maddie. Not only was she likely the most beautiful & charming woman I've ever seen...but she was extremely polite, friendly, welcoming, and professional. Top notch service and accommodations. Highly recommend.

Location is phenomenal, my view has the river. Walking distance to a lot of shopping, the stacks, and places to eat. As for the room, although it wasn't the best upon arrival, Danieal (front desk) came immediately and addressed the issue. She went above and beyond including cleaning things housekeeping didn't, made sure my son was comfortable with the stay, greeted everyone with a big smile upon arrival and exiting of the building! No other worker said anything to us. Complimentary breakfast was delicious!
